Mamiya 645AF Lenses The breakthrough Mamiya 645AF lenses use cutting edge ECO-GLASS which offers low dispersion and high performance with ecologically sound lead and arsenic-free glass manufacturing processes. In addition, Mamiya owners will be able to use over 20 existing 645 series lenses in manual diaphragm operation with focus confirmation. This state-of-the-art zoom lens is capable of rendering exceptional sharpness and contrast at all focal lengths. It uses Mamiya s own formulation of the most advanced high-density/low-dispersion optical glass. Each lens element is precisely polishedand utilizes Mamiya s proprietary multicoating process to increase light transmission, dramatically reduce flare, ensure crisp, clean whites and vibrant yet natural colors. The Mamiya AF 55 - 110mm f/4.5 Zoom lens is ideally designed for a wide range of subjects from portraits to landscapes. The independent focus and zoom ring (straigh-helicoids) allows for best use of polarizing filters because the front elements do not rotate during zoom or focus actions. Other convenient features include an easy-grip two-position manual/autofocus clutch on the lens barrel for fine manual focus adjustment via a quick pull on the lens focusing ring. Conversely, a small forward push on the lens focusing ring engages the autofocus again.
